Is there an admission fee?

Admission to Boom Days is free and open to the public. Some activities will require the purchase of armbands, tickets or a donation.

Is the festival family-friendly?

Absolutely! Boom Days is a family-friendly event with fun and activities for all ages.

Will there be activities available for children?

Yes, from 10 AM-4 PM! Children’s Area wristbands $10 each. This includes unlimited Inflatables and pony rides, +5 tickets that can be used for Rock Wall, Wipeout, Face Painting, Balloon Animals or Glitter Bar. All Proceeds go to the Altrusa Club.

How long will vendors be set up?

Vendors on Gault Avenue will be set up until 4 PM, City Park vendors will be set up until 6 PM.

Are pets allowed at the festival?

All animals must be kept on a leash and closely supervised at all times.

Will there be parking available?

Fort Payne has multiple downtown parking lots that will be open for the festival. Parking is first-come, first-serve.

Is there handicap parking available?

All public parking lots in downtown Fort Payne have designated handicap parking spaces. There is no designated parking available on-site at Boom Days.

Can I smoke or vape in the festival?

Boom Days is a smoke-free event. All city parks and surrounding areas in the City of Fort Payne are smoke-free spaces.

Can I bring my own cooler?

No. Outside coolers and/or alcoholic beverages may not be brought into Boom Days or participating venues.

Can I bring my own chairs?

Yes! You may bring chairs or blankets for use in outdoor seating areas.

Can I leave and re-enter the festival?

Yes! Boom Days is a free and public event. You may come and go as you like during open event hours.

Can I buy a VIP ticket?

VIP tickets are only available to our event sponsors.

What if it rains?

The show will go on! Boom Days is a rain-or-shine event. We recommend bringing an umbrella or poncho in case of rain. Tents and canopies are not allowed into the event.

Where can I purchase Boom Days merch?

Boom Days shirts, posters and merchandise will be sold at the Fort Payne Chamber from 10 AM-4 PM on Saturday and at the Main Stage Boom Days tent Friday and Saturday nights.
